Native
Wolf
Regarded by native cultures as having a very special spiritual power particularly for hunting, the wolf is ranked first among the animals in some first nation’s mythology. Many call the wolf totem the 'Great Hunter's totem' as it was believed that a man needed the mystical spirit powers of the wolf to become a successful hunter.
While having a strong sense of family the wolf has a strong individualistic spirit. The moon, which is feminine, is considered the power ally for the wolf and holds the secrets of knowledge and wisdom.

Native Bear.
Many
of the Native Americans tribes believed that when
the Native American bear went into hibernation his
spirit form would come out and roam freely. One of
the famous Native American myths is about an Indian
chief’s daughter who married a young bear who was
the nephew of the great bear chief. The couple had
twin bear cubs and she became known as the bear
mother. In this myth the brothers of the bear mother
killed her bear husband. Because of this the Native
